Provide leadership on initiatives for over 3,000 student members in the American Academy of Religion (AAR), a national learned society for scholars of religion. Implemented new organizational structure and leadership changes to achieve strategic goals for growth, effectiveness and relevancy of all student member services. Develop, coordinate, and assess student programming for AAR annual meeting (15 workshops and 5 seminars). Created, promoted and implemented the first annual graduate student Leadership Development Series. Provide administrative oversight for ten regional student directors. Collaborate with 11 board members to address issues of organizational governance, professional development, academic workforce trends, information technology migration, and collaborative special projects. Prepare annual reports and budgets. Prepare and disseminate electronic communications between student members, board members, the Executive Director, staff, and members at large.
